Newbie to the 44 model

Hi

This is my first Audi, and I was Lucky enough to find a fine example of a 2.3 1989 model.

I am just getting to know it, and I noticed that there is no light in the heater/blower/ventilation knobs.
I suppose they should be illuminated in red ? Does anyone know how to change these bulbs ?

Also I noticed the rubber cover on the back of the right headlamp is missing. Is it possible to get just the cover without buying the whole lamp ?

Cheers,
Claus

Hi
My first Audi and first car was also 2.3 :)

There are 3 knobs and plastic cover around it. Cover must be removed to replace the bulb. If my memory serves me right then the cover must be pulled out by using screwdriver or anything like it.

and I'm sure you can get the rubber cover from the scrapyard or ebay.de or .co.uk

Hi Snow racer

Thanks for the tips.

It was quite easy: Pull the 3 knobs out, unscrew 2 screws, pull the frame out, and there was the bulb - no problem.

Fantastic car to drive daily - great comfort despite its 25 years.

Cheers,
Claus

Hi!
I have replaced the bulbs with LED lights on all my display knobs on my Audi 100 Avant 2,0E -89.
I have a rubber lining for the front light if you want.
