Hello together , New on here , but previous a 1990's owner of 100 CC / Avant Sport Tdi

I am just about to buy a Sport II version ( flared arches ) Typ 44 C3 "NF" mfg 11/90. Its a 2 owner car, last owner 25 years/orig handbook/full service history.

Before buying it , I am looking at three issues that need fixing ( previous owner died ) .

The first is to replace a rear shock absorber which is weeping a little oil, Are the shock absorbers still available for the 20mm lowered S711 spec
Indeed are the different length to std C3's ?

Next , Gamma radio, Lost code ( was in owners head ) battery went flat car just sitting several months,
I assume its original factory item as Std on the Sport II in 1990. Can Audi give me the code with the original docs/chassis number ?

What to look for , for an oil leak that is definitively above the Cylinder head level ?

Any views on these , and anticpated costs of 2 spare shock absorbers, Thanks Linksfahrer

you can get the code for the gamma from Audi, they need only the chassis - Nr. , for two weeks i get the code for my gamma without problems.
