and there´s also www.elcats.ru , if the other link is temporarly disabled (which sometimes happens).

With the help of online-translator.com and/or some Vodka, even the russian language is no longer a barrier.

not only vodka; you'll definitely need a Russian proxy server to access elcats.ru.

Ich habe zwar in der Schule russisch gehabt, aber das ist lange her!
Solche Ersatzteilkataloge sind eine feine Sache, habe ich sogar für meinen Trabant 601!

No, it just works fine for me - i type www.elcats.ru and it works perfect.

Maybe it´s cause i´m using Mozilla instead of IE?

But i agree... sometimes these pages are offline.

Must learn some Russian language anyway soon.

Well, their alphabet can be a pain in the ass at the first moment, but once you´re into those 33 letters, you´re able to read and guess their meaning much easier. Took me about 6 months (and 3 visits to Moscow) to get familiar with it (at least a little bit)

Some words are rather similar to ours (Latin based languages), so it´s not an completely hopeless attempt to read the Russian parts catalogue.

BTW: here´s a good transcription of the Russian alphabet

Keep in mind, that the engl. transcription is a bit different, i.e. Gorbatschow (German) - Gorbatchev (Engl.)

if you go further on the site there is a list of IP numbers, but what can you do with it?????.

Maybe better to find a cd with the original sofware from Audi, on some sites it's offered for low price, but don't know what to think about, would it work?,

also jungs ich habe auch cd ein programm das auch bei audi service benutzt wird das prog kostet bei audi ca 1500€ und bekommt man als normal sterblicher nicht ist nur eine preisfrage ich könnte es euch brennen in den programm steht ob es das teil noch gibt die teilenummer und was es kostet also wenn ihr es brauch meldet euch

i am interested, depending on those websites, sometimes they shut down, for some reasons, such parts cd is also veruy useable, when putting back something together in the car, if you don't remember it anymore.
