Hallo,

i need a little help. i just made the engine swap -> audi 200 turbo engine KG into audi 90 typ89...

flywheel is from audi 90 20V, TDC pin marks are similar with 200` flywheel.. :-)

the next thing is wiring - i have MAC-01 ECU from URQ (chipped), but it is impossible to start engine  when we drag in, engine starts immediately and everthing works fine!!!

maybe it is because that urq flywheel has two timing pins ???????

:-(

Hi,

as far as memory serves me, you´ll need the following 3 signals to get the engine running.

- hall sensor signal
you need the turbo distributor with single hall window - n/a distributor with 5 windows will not work in l5 turbo applications.

- TDC reference sensor
you mentioned it - flywheel pin is pointing towards the engine @ 62° BTDC

- RPM sensor
sits next to the TDC sensor on the same mounting bracket. I guess, you need to have a flywheel with 135 teeth, otherwise, it wont work.

If one of these signals is missing, the engine will not spark.

HTH,
Olli

a have the turbo distributor..

RPM sensor works fine

the problem is -> i have flywheel with only one pin, urq has two! :-(

http://www.quattroforum.com/viewtopic.p ... wheel+pins

i have no wish to pull motor out or take of gearbox..., there must be some other way how to get signal to ECU..

would it work if i put sensor and pins in/on front of crank ?? :-D
