Hello,

What cleaner did you use? just in case you used common brake cleaning fluid you just have to wait an couple of days. These fluids often do not harm the material itself and they simply evaporate.

I did this with some rubber diaphragm built in a breaking fluid containment in my old Honda....first it nearly doubled size but after 4-6 days supported by sunshine and fresh air the stuff evaporated and left the rubber in fine shape.

so if you have the chance, buy some new ones..but if not, try the above.

Gruß

Raymond

PS:....can't find the "ß" on your keyboard ? ;) ..nevermind, since a couple of years "ß" is obsolete in correct german written language

Used a cold cleaner, wich you after the cleaning job remove with water, the rubbers where swollen, and broke in pieces.
I'ts only one caliper that has it, for the other one i was on time and cleaned the cleaner away.
