Hallo Sander,
Hoe weet je dat het een oetinger is of beter waar staat dat het
een oetinger is?
Op de motor

of in de papieren?

OMG - that car looks nice!!!
Haven´t seen it yet on the road, nor do i have any infos about it.
Interesting - the fenders look quite different from any other type 44 "Sport"/20V with round wheel arches.
The front fender wheel arch looks similar to those from the V8, so does the rear quarter.
When was this car build?
Must be before the facelift in 1988...
The only infos regarding Oettinger, that i have, was about the n/a l5 engine.
They once offered a 2.5l stroker based on the 2.3l engine. And they did camshafts & cylinder head mods. as well, but the turbos...???
Did you ever contact Oettinger directly?
Maybe they still have some infos in their archive...
Please keep us updated.
Regards,
Olli

We've purchaced the car today, it stood 2yr in the bushes

so it has some work. Exterior is in outstanding condition, so is the interior.
Engine needs service, all fluids nee replacement etc.
Brakes need services as well....
The car is from 1986.
I've e-mailed oettinger this evening, i hope they can help

Sander,
thanks for the infos!
It was much what i had exspected.
Oettinger was always a kind of "old school" tuner and so are the mods - classic mechanical tuning.
Ok, at that time ECU remapping was no option, since the KG engine had no EPROM and only a handful of people worldwide had the know how & computer power to go bits ´n bytes.
So Oettinger did the same, what they did with the n/a engine - bigger bottom end, head rebuild, ported EM & IM, larger valves - the same menue that works on any engine.
Quite surprising, that they offered a wide body kit for the type 44 - didn´t know that either.
Cheers,
Olli
ps. hope to see car & driver on one of our next GTGs...

Hi,

Ive heared about Oettinger 5zylinder at the end of the 80s because i´m searching for tuning parts for the 4 zylinder GTI. So ive heared from the other Kurbelwelle (???) but never see some car in real.
I´m very interested about this part. I´m looking for this item several years

.
Next days i must searching old Katalog from oettinger, im sure i have somewhere.
Please make some more Fotos for us- it is possible to see some dokuments where we can see more??

Mfg Jörg

kurberwell ist crankshaft (i can read and speak german, but cant put it in sentences;))
I've asked some audi guru's in Holland, as far as they know it's the only known 200 Oettinger in Holland, and also the only known 200 in the rare color oceanic blue ...

So, got the car, but didnt have time to take a good look at it yet....
pics will come later, i think end of next week orso.
I did have time to write down the ausstattung codes, but i cant find them for the post-facelift 200 ... Anybody got them?
These are the codes:
Color LY6V => oceanic blue
Codes:
A94
415
471
709
723
912
983
Anyone?
thx.

laut der Liste auf Ollis HP
(
http://www.audi100-online.de/Daten/Auss ... _200_.html )
Codes:
A94
415 scheibenrad Alu, 6x15 (wheel)
471 Topversion Sport/Sportausführung
709
723
912
983 Durchladeeinrichtung (Skisack, "Skibag", load-through ability / load-through capacity)
709 would be a special Version for the Audi 100, "Reise und Hobby" ("Travel and hobby"), but this doesn´t match for the 200
723 should also be a special version (as most 7xx seems to be like this), but ist not mentionend.
Ciao
André

Hi !
Nice car !
Here i found this:

The spoilers seems to be from Oettinger too ?? But 182hp and a KG engine in the faceliftet Typ44 ?? Very strange !

The C4 V6 rear muffler is a direct bolt on affair. I got one from a 2.8l quattro in my spare parts pile too.
However the silencer body is a bit shorter than the type 44 silencer, but the tubes are a bit longer in order to match the requested dimensions.
Sadly you won´t gain any hp with it, since the V6 end tips have a slightly smaller ID than the single tip from the type 44 turbo muffler.
We have 2x40mm ID on the V6 and 1x 57mm on the 10VT.
Still, those twin pipes look much better than the single turbo end pipe.
Cheers,
Olli

Hi,
Ein wirklich schöner ,und vor allem seltener Typ 44!
Diese ausgestellten Radhäuser sind bemerkenwert.
Ich gebe Mike recht ; Eine Anhängerkupplung ist vllt. praktisch
aber nicht schön
