First post here and have heaps of questions.
My names Steve,aka Groomus or catgroom (as I groom Persian cats for a living).
Im chuffed to find an English Speaking 200 forum.My regular,and excellent Audi forum only has 2 or 3 owners.

Anyway,among lots of other questions,Id like to lose the rough feeling through the drivetrain from the front.
Mines a fronty (2WD).
Im singling things out one by one.
Going by the fact that the car rolls rather pathetically in "Drive" Im thinking the Auto Box could well be needing a refurb.
Before I assume this,can someone tell me the correct ATF fluid checking proceedure.
Normally I have done this with the engine running,run it through each position on the Selector for a couple of seconds,put in in P,then checked the level.
Is this not the way you do it with the 200?
Mines a 1984 200 Turbo Auto.A really clean original one too.Only 109000 on the clock.
