This is a little shop what we have planned for it !! What you think?

Its a very good example and has only covered 35,000 miles, been in the family since new and has been sat in a
shed for the past 15 years but needs a little love to get it to show standard!

Just need as much info as possible ie anyone
you know who has got the same car or specialist i can get
in contact with for parts etc as i cant find any info on the net!

Any ideas?

Cheers  8)

Hi, here ya' go:

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/audi100c1series/
http://www.audiforum.nl/Models/article.php?model=100_C1
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_100
http://amkg.homeip.net/astory/old1/ec1.htm
http://www.jmc-auditeile.de/Clubs.htm

PS.: Your car is called 'Audi 100 C1'. Just google and you'll find all you need about it :)

Don't hesitate to post further questions here.

Best Regards,
Axel

PPS.: You can use Google's or Altavista's translate feature to translate all those german web sites into english. :)

PPPS: Regarding your plans for it: Everything looks cool, besides the rims. They're slightly overdone to european eyes ;)

Hello

Beitrag von turbaxel »

Hi,

don't worry. :) C1 is just the internal manufacturer's code for your little barn yard cruiser ;)

They were followed (of course) by the rather angular C2 and C3 (the main topic of this forum) to the C4. Which were all called '100' here as well.

Then hop over to ebay.de, as well. Once or twice a week something's popping up there ;) Just make sure, they'll send the parts overseas and the toll won't kill ya :)

Cheers, ;)

Besides, if you're a us resident and just hunting for C1 parts. Maybe we could make a deal. I'm in search for us parts for another Audi.

Hi Ash

Hi Ash,

now that's good news ;) So you won't get hurt by toll. :)

I'd check ebay.de regularly and ask those people to send the stuff to the UK. You'll have to pay in advance (to create confidence), but these classic car ppl won't trick you (besides the sometimes hefty price tag :) ).

All continental parts besides steering, dashboard and headlights will fit your car. MOT shouldn't be a prob at this age, anyway?

Then I'd try to become a member in a german c1 and a british general audi classic club. Should help imense.

Just my 2eurocents, :D
Axel

PS.: If you rebuild the car, please galvanize it. ;)

Do you know any usernames of parts suppliers on ebay or are they just random?
